What is Cataract?

A common eye disease causing blurry vision due to lens clouding

What is Cataract?

Cataract is a condition where the lens inside the eye becomes cloudy, causing blurry vision. Aging is the primary cause, occurring in over 80% of people aged 60 and above. While correctable with glasses in early stages, surgery becomes the only treatment as it progresses. Multifocal IOL implantation can address both cataract and presbyopia simultaneously.
