What is Keratoconus?

Keratoconus is a progressive condition where the cornea thins and bulges into a cone shape. It mainly occurs in teens and 20s, causing severe myopia and irregular astigmatism. Corneal collagen cross-linking (CXL) can halt progression, and early detection is possible with PENTACAM HR.
